February Student Athlete’s of the Month

Winter Teams Impress Academically!

The second marking period grades are out and our Winter Teams performed amazingly! Of our 348 athletes 97.7% of them remained eligible for the 3rd marking period and astounding 83.3% earned a 3.0 GPA or higher. Great job by all of our winter athletes! HYPNOSIS AND COMEDY SHOW!

Come on out for a night of FAMILY FUN! MARC HAUSMAN, a stand-up comedian and hypnotist, will demonstrate the use of hypnosis to promote positive thinking, stress relief, improved sport performance, and beyond! This show is designed for all ages – ALL ARE WELCOME. WHEN: December 1st 8:00pm in the Auditorium TICKETS: $10 Adults $5

Girls Basketball Information

On Monday, November 13th, ALL girls and boys trying out for JV or Varsity basketball should report to Room 246 by 11:15am. We will go through the required MCPS sports safety presentation at this time (about 15 minutes). This is a REQUIREMENT for tryouts. Please spread the word, and be prompt.

Winter All-Mets Released

Four Churchill athletes were selected to the Washington Post Winter All-Met Honorable Mention teams in their respected sports. Congratulations to Coco Kuchins for girls basketball, Mory Gould for boys swimming & diving, Emily Wang for girls swimming & diving, and Lucas Young for wrestling. Congratulations again to our All-Mets for the 2016-2017 winter season!  

Basketball Playoff Games Set

The first round of games are set for this Friday night at home. The boys will face Walter Johnson at 5:30p and the girls will play Northwood at 7:15p. Come out and cheer on your Dawgs to victory!
