Clarksburg Coyotes 54 Churchill Bulldogs 28
Sophomore Bryce Wilson rushed for 206 yards on the ground, and 2022 classmate Jaden Selby threw for 137 more in the 2019 season closer on the road. Wilson carried 26 times, averaging nearly 8 yards per effort, including a 47 yard touchdown run and a 50 yarder which set up his second TD. Selby hit junior wideout Josh Pilarski on a sideline catch-and-run for a 54 yard score in the first quarter, and later passed up top to 6’4″ senior WR Veron Talla for a 15 yard touchdown. The Bulldogs fell behind the Coyotes early on, but closed the gap to 13 at the end of an extraordinarily high scoring (41-28) first half. The Bulldogs were unable to produce any further points in their 5 second-half possessions, however, and dropped their 8th of 9 games on the 2019 schedule despite the 345 yards of total offense.
