Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons 14 Churchill Bulldogs 8
Senior Night 2019
A final drive ended on the Barons 15 yard line, as the Bulldogs come up short at home on Senior Night. The contest was key in determining Churchill’s playoff status as the conclusion of the regular season approaches.
Sophomore quarterback Jaden Selby found junior wide receiver Josh Pilarski on the left sideline for a 43 yard touchdown in the second quarter, with sophomore Bryce Wilson running in the 2 point conversion. The Bulldogs took the 8-0 lead into halftime. B-CC put 2 TDs on the board in the second half before the Bulldogs final drive, which originated at the Churchill 32 and included 4 consecutive pass completions by Selby. The final 1.3 seconds ran off the clock due to a penalty, ending the game in disappointing fashion for the Bulldogs.
The 2019 season will conclude on the road, as Churchill travels north to take on the Clarksburg Coyotes on Friday, 11/1.
