Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse, Girls Varsity Lacrosse · New Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach Hired

I am very excited to welcome the WCHS Community to our new Girls’ Lacrosse Varsity Head Coach, Tara Nicholas. Tara brings a great passion and love for lacrosse to our program that will take our girls’ to the next level both on and off of the field. Tara shared some information on herself and experience below. Please welcome Tara to our Bulldog family.

My name is Tara Nicholas and I have been the Head Coach for Northwest High School for the past three seasons. Simultaneously, I have also been coaching for Rebels Club Lacrosse program. I coached the rising seniors (2018) my first season and I have coached the 2022s for the past two years. Before coaching, I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a top 10 nationally ranked division II program, where I was a three year starter. While playing at IUP, I studied early childhood and special education. I was born and raised in Montgomery County and attended Northwest High School. While at Northwest, I was a four year starter, a leading scorer in the county, two-year first team all-Gazette and honorable mention All-Met player my senior year. I am beyond excited for my new journey as a Bulldog and can’t wait to take this program to the next level!
